Who Qualifies For Full Mouth Reconstruction?

We find that most of our patients who come in for full mouth restorations are candidates for procedures that would improve their lives. This includes people who have:

Full Mouth Reconstruction Treatments

Dental crowns are strong porcelain restorations that cap a damaged or ground-down tooth. These restorations are custom-made from 3D scans to restore the size, shape and color of your tooth. Crowns can help improve tooth durability and strength after a large cavity or root canal therapy, and can restore dental implants.

Bridges are a series of two or more crowns that span the gap of an empty tooth socket. Bridges are made from strong, natural-looking porcelain and are custom-made to blend with the neighboring teeth. Replacing two or more missing teeth, bridges can restore proper biting and chewing ability.

Veneers are slim, tooth-colored porcelain shells that cover the front part of your teeth to enhance their appearance. They are especially useful for cosmetic issues such as chips, gaps and cracks in your teeth. They’re often part of smile makeover treatments, focused on improving the appearance of the teeth that show the most when you smile.

At the Wright Dental Center, we offer Zoom! Teeth Whitening, which brightens discolored and stained teeth in one or more sessions. With Zoom! in particular, you can see up to eight shades of improvement in a single 45-minute session. This is a much more dramatic improvement than you can get with over-the-counter teeth whiteners.

If your jaw doesn’t quite line up properly when you chew, you may need an occlusal adjustment. This procedure involves grinding and shaping teeth to make sure they fit together properly as you bite. This can relieve TMJ problems as well as teeth grinding.

We offer Invisalign™ treatments at the Wright Dental Center, as well as retainers and mouthguards. Whether you want to preserve your extensive orthodontic work or simply want to protect yourself from grinding your teeth, we have your needs covered.

Dental implants replace one or more missing teeth, and usually last a lifetime. They include a post that is surgically implanted into the tooth root and a crown that is attached to the post using an abutment. Dental implants restore biting and chewing power, natural smile aesthetics, and general health for an improved quality of life.

Our Smile Rehabilitation Process

Full mouth reconstruction is a complex process, and every case is unique. Often, it requires multiple visits to restore full function and health to your smile. To ensure that your treatment is tailored to your specific needs, we first complete a free consultation and evaluation at our offices in Cold Spring, KY, Hebron, KY, Union, KY, and Cincinnati, OH, where we learn what your smile goals are. Here, we’ll encourage you to discuss what you like and dislike about your smile, as well as specific goals you may have. This is also where we tailor your treatment to fit your budget. We offer coverage through several major insurance providers, as well as through third-party financing companies, so we’re confident we can arrange payments that fit your budget.

While full mouth cosmetic dentistry primarily restores functional dental concerns, you will see improvements to the look of your smile, as well. When planning your treatment, we consider your facial features and symmetry, your lips and gum line, and your individual goals. Lasting a few weeks to several months, your treatment will restore each tooth to maximum health. If we find gum disease or any infection in your roots, we’ll address these first to provide a healthy foundation for the rest of our work. Then we introduce orthodontics to replace missing teeth, or even complete cosmetic treatments such as crowns or veneers.
