Dr. James Abadi was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended Virginia Wesleyan College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business and was a decorated four-year starter for the men’s varsity soccer team. Dr. Abadi returned to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). Following his DMD program, Dr. Abadi was accepted into UK’s General Practice Residency where he received advanced training in Root Canal Treatment, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Implant Dentistry and Dental Extractions. He also gained the medical knowledge and skills to manage medically, mentally, and physically complex patients.
When Dr. Abadi is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, including his wife, their twin daughters, and his dog Murphy. He loves snowboarding with his family and watching his girls play soccer.
Dr. Abadi is passionate about providing his patients with the best care possible. He will always take time to listen to and consider patients’ concerns and goals for their dental health and aesthetics, as well as their overall well-being.
